Compact Pump Modules | Micropac MPM

Single and dual speed miniature high pressure hydraulic hand pump modules suitable for OEM use in miniature hydraulic presses, jacks, actuators and with small cylinders. Connection is via a built in “Minimess” connector or using a base outlet with O ring sealing. The sealed hydraulic reservoir using a bladder allows operation in any orientation and stops oil leakage. Pressures are up to 700 bar and reservoir capacities are 50cc or 125cc with the single or dual speed units respectively.

This unit is manufactured in lightweight anodised aluminium alloy and carbon steel and is for use on mineral oil. The pumps include inbuilt hold/release valves and pressure relief valves to limit the maximum pressure.

The MPM series hand pumps provide miniature single and dual speed pump modules which offer sealed hydraulic systems and fully functional pumps including a hold/release valve and a relief valve. They operate on mineral oil. The hard-chromed piston rods runs in a bronze bearing for long life. The ultra-compact pump body is fitted with inlet and outlet non-return valves, a relief valve and a release valve. The single speed pump has a 50cc reservoir and the dual speed pump offers 125cc. There is no provision for a larger reservoir. The pump pressure outlet is either via a standard “Minimess” coupling running to 620 bar or via the 700 bar base outlet port that can be opened up using a grub screw if required. The Minimess coupling can be used for a pressure gauge connector or a small bore hose fitted. The pump is mounted using three M8 tapped holes on the flat base of the pump. If you are using the central pressure port with the O ring seal, the three mounting screws will provide the sealing force as well as mechanically mounting the pump. The base outlet port is a manifold interface, so the mating surface will need to be flat, rigid and achieve the required surface finish. There is no provision for through holes in this compact pump body. You must use all three of the tapped M8 holes. The pump handle is detachable and swivels through 360 degrees.
