35 years ago, our original MW series pumps were designed for easy upgrading of seals to meet particular operating conditions.
At that time, competitors’ pumps weren’t helpful on special seals, as moulded seals were commonly used. As our initial customers were aerospace, defence and oil + gas, we will offer proven solutions.
We are still focussed on offering alternative seals at reasonable prices and short lead times.
We can supply pumps capable of operating down to -55 degrees C, subject to the chosen fluid being suitable for use at these temperatures. If a pump is being operated at these low temperatures, adequate PPE is essential.
Always consider the overall system when specifying equipment for low temperatures. The inlet path to the pump must be unconstructed and have adequate bore.
