Specialist Ground Support Equipment, VGV actuator

This is a typical Sarum Hydraulics specialist pump unit using our proven Micropac pumps and associated components. We have manufactured this unit for some 35 years to fill a particular need in the GSE market. The specific function is the engine VGV / VSV test on jet fuel. This unit offers an equivalent to 856A1084 GO4 and 2C6395 plus the range of G0 hose and fitting variants. Any trade marks are acknowledged.

This specific test unit uses a Micropac MW series precision hand pump fitted with a leakproof four way directional valve. There are precision needle shut off valves on each leg.  A calibrated pressure gauge is reading the pressure in each leg of the circuit and the pump outlet feeds the specific hose set and fittings for the G0 permutation via a miniature stainless steel AN filter element. The unit is based on a compact stainless steel reservoir with transit rails and a pressurised filler breather to allow the pump to be carried holding fluid.
