Who needs a Micropac PTR-M air driven hydrotest pump skid?

If you need a rugged air driven hydrotest or pump unit using our PTR technology, select our PTR-M manual model. With just an air shut off valve to operate the pump, the incoming air regulator to set the hydraulic pressure and a hold/release valve to vent hydraulic pressure, operation is simple and fool proof. It is based on our rugged stainless framework and is at home on site, in the shop or even the lab.

Micropac attention to detail is there. We have integrated the pressure connection, gauge port and hold/release valve into a compact customer manifold rather than piping them up using vulnerable fittings. We have added an extra pressure port so it is there when you need it.

Six basic pump models from 35 to 700 bar are offered and we supply either a skeleton unit using an external fluid supply or we integrate a 10 litre rugged stainless steel reservoir to make the unit self-contained.

The unit is designed for multiple fluids including water and oil. The wetted parts are stainless steel for very low corrosion. The unit is serviceable and service kits are available from us. An optional certified relief valve can be fitted to limit the maximum system pressure if increased security is required on a system.

Description

The Micropac PTR-M unit offers a very simple and rugged air driven hydraulic pump on a skid. We have integrated into the unit our proven air controls and also our single manifold outlet. This integrates into one body the outlet port, the pressure gauge port, the tank port (where applicable), our hold/release valve and also an auxiliary outlet port. Customers told us they wanted the extra port to save extra compression fittings.

The air driven pump is available in several models/ratios for different pressures. Wetted parts are in stainless steel and polymer.

The air controls are protected by the skid and comprise an air shut-off valve to control the pump supply, an air regulator to control the inlet air pressure and accordingly the hydraulic outlet pressure and an air gauge to indicate the inlet air pressure to the pump.

The skid provides a lightweight but strong stainless steel protective cage that makes carrying easy and provides security for use on site, in the shop or in the lab.
