The Micropac MU corrosion resistant, long life hand pump is manufactured only in 316 stainless steel and polymer for both external and wetted parts.

It is offered in only a 25cc per double stroke, 207 bar model. It is a component hand pump, so if you require a release valve or relief valve, these need to be specified from a range such as BIS Valves, Swagelok or Parker and connected. If you need these extra components integrated into the hand pump body, look at the MW-3 series pump or the MD-6 two speed pump, although these have small amounts of stainless 302/303/304/420/431 in them plus bronze CW307G.

Why buy Micropac MU Corrosion Resistant Hand Pump?

  • 316 stainless steel and polymer construction minimises long term galvanic corrosion
  • Soft seat check valves and poppet check valves for dependability
  • Multi fluid – suitable for low viscosity fluids

Description

This specialist hand pump would be specified where there is a need to eliminate the risk of long term galvanic corrosion in a hydraulic system. The Micropac MU hand pump uses only 316 stainless steel and polymer.

For manual hydraulic solutions for hazardous areas, this unit is not an ATEX or IECEx Certified hand pump. Other Micropac pumps are. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

This hand pump is most often mounted on a hydraulic reservoir lid, but can also be fitted to a bracket or frame and hard-piped. Only the inlet and outlet need connections. There are no drain ports as no release or relief valves are offered on the unit. If you require auxiliary valves such as a hold/release and relief, then look at our MW-3 316 Stainless Steel Hand Pump.

The unit is double acting, providing 25cc per double stroke to 207 bar through a G 3/8” outlet fitting. Seals are Nitrile, Viton or EPDM to suit your fluid. All units are tested on water.
