Micropac MD UKEX/ ATEX/ IEC Ex Two Speed 316 Hydraulic Hand Pump

A range of long life two speed manual change over hydraulic hand pumps suitable for operation in a potentially explosive atmosphere.

Soft seal outlet check valve; ideally suited to hydrostatic testing, as well as a source of stand-by hydraulic power typically for actuation. Three models cover maximum pressures from 450 to 1000 bar, with a variety of sealing options for different fluids. With the portable 316 stainless reservoir option, the unit is a versatile pressure testing and filling facility; reservoirs available in capacities 5 to 50 litres, with integral carrying trolley option. Fixed 316 reservoirs in capacities 1 to 20 litres are also available. Optional pressure hold/release valve, relief valve, pressure gauge and hose. 316 stainless steel and bronze construction.

Description

Two speed hydraulic hand pump with manual changeover between low and high pressure stages. Make connection to inlet if no reservoir supplied. Connect system to outlet port via hose or tube. Fill reservoir with fluid. Operate pump handle; low pressure operation up to 50 bar (max.); push button changeover for operation to maximum pressure. Compatible with multiple fluids including water, oil, glycol and ‘Skydrol’, dependent on sealing option. Pump is 316 stainless steel and bronze construction with UHMWP, PTFE, Polyurethane and a choice of nitrile, fluorocarbon or EPDM elastomer sealing.

Available with pressure hold/release valve, adjustable relief valve for pump protection, pressure gauge (range to order) and hose (length and outlet fittings to order).

Optional portable 316 stainless steel reservoirs with sturdy footplate available, either for hand carrying or with integral carrying trolley, dependent on size and application.

Optional fixed mounting 316 stainless steel reservoirs. Reservoirs, where ordered, are supplied factory fitted to pump.

Non-electrical equipment intended to be used in Surface Industry classified as both Gas Explosive Atmosphere – Zone 1 and Explosive Atmosphere of Combustible Dust – Zone 21.

IEC Ex: II 2 D Ex h IIIC T85°C Db

Non-electrical equipment conforming to ISO 80079-36:2016 both for EPL Gb for use in explosive gas atmospheres of Group IIC and ignition temperature greater than 85°C, and for EPL Db for explosive dust atmospheres containing dusts of Group IIIC and maximum surface temperature less than 85°C.
