Micropac® TX Hydraulic Service Cart
Easy, safe and organised. Configure exactly what you need.
Compact multifluid service carts for filling, top-up and hydrostatic pressure test in your shop or site.
Our neat TX Service Cart provides a sturdy reservoir with two wheels, your choice of Micropac pump head and a compact organiser to provide fitting, adaptor and tool storage plus a document slot for true productivity. This is what Professionals say they need. When you have a specific hydraulic pressure test, filling or top up task, you need the kit kept safe and ready for use. There is also neat hose storage built into the compact cart. Our two wheel 20 litre/5.3USG reservoir cart can be configured with our range of Micropac pump heads in anodized marine grade alloy or 316 stainless with models up to 700 bar and displacements up to 100cc per double stroke. Add in a gauge, relief valve, hoses in different material options and seal compounds for different fluids. 10L/2.6USG and 50L/12.2USG carts are also available.
Can I pick different pump heads to go on the same trolley reservoir?
Configuring the unit is very easy to suit your exact requirement. Pick a reservoir size. 20 Litres/5.3USG is the most common. Then select a pump head. The low pressure pumps are the lowest cost and most basic, as they can’t have release/relief valves or a pressure gauge added. Or pick our anodised alloy or 316 stainless MW series on the configurator then select your displacement/pressure range plus seals and valve options to suit you. A 3 metre hose comes as standard, although pick “none” if you don’t require it.
How big are the storage trays on the side of the unit?
Our tray size has been designed to be within the width of the axle simply to make the tray less vulnerable to damage in use. We have used sturdy stainless sheet for these organisers. We offer a plan view size of a useful 90 x 215mm internal. There is supplied an inner tray with holes for fittings. Above the fitting organiser is a document slot which hydraulics Professionals find useful to keep their paperwork away from bench tops and coat pockets. Fit a second fitting organiser in place of the document slot if you wish. They are interchangeable. Talk to us.
Can I put two fittings trays on my trolley instead of the document organiser?
Yes, on the 20 litre unit, lift off the document sleeve and slot in a second fittings tray. We can supply you with the second tray. Note that the 10 litre TX unit only has the single tray and a 50L version has room for 2 trays. Talk to us.
What is the difference between the MB pump heads and the MW pump heads?
Our entry level Micropac TX service cart simply uses the anodised alloy/316 stainless steel 25 bar/100cc MB series pump. That will shift around 4 litres per minute. You won’t be able to add a release valve, relief valve or gauge, but if you are simply dispensing fluid or low pressure charging, the unit is ideal. There is a 316 stainless version of this same basic MB pump. Move to the MW pumps if you need to add in valve options or need the higher pressures. MW pumps run to 7cc per double stroke and 700 bar/10,000psi.
Do I need a stainless steel pump or should I use aluminium?
A massive range of applications can use anodised marine grade 6082T6 aluminium. Our barrel liner is anyway 316 stainless steel, the piston rod is hard chromed 316 stainless and there is a lot of stainless steel in the other wetted parts. The anodised alloy parts are the internal passages. People have used our anodised MW-A units for decades even for water service and have taken advantage of the lower cost and low mass compared 316 stainless. Some applications and fluids simply need 316 stainless. That will provide a very durable unit both in terms of wetted parts and the external components in contact with the environment. Note our anodised alloy unit does have a plated carbon steel handle mechanism. Another important consideration is not to use brass fittings in a system with aqueous fluids. Galvanic corrosion is a serious issue and the alloy pump with be corroded.
Can I customise this unit and buy online?
Our in-house distributor, Pump Shop Pro is in business to sell on-line our most popular units. Configure the anodised alloy pumps TX service carts and buy from Pump Shop Pro if you wish. Or feel free to send the enquiry to Sarum Hydraulics. The 316 stainless pumps are always quoted. Send the enquiry from the Pump Shop Pro configurator or direct to Sarum Hydraulics for a prompt quotation.

Description
Our Micropac TX service cart is a pump head on a portable, 2-wheel trolley. The unit sits flat on the ground on the base plate, and when you want to move the unit, you tilt the trolley onto the integral axle to roll the unit easily to where you need it. You can fit various pump heads to the unit to suit different flow rate and maximum pressure requirements. The TX cart also comes with organiser trays on the side, with space for fittings and documentation.
The pump also comes with a 3 metre hydraulic hose as standard, so out of the box you are ready to dispense, fill and pressure test.
