Micropac Precision 10 Tonne miniature Laboratory and Production Press, rugged 10 Tonne compact jack and 10 Tonne integral cylinder jack

High quality British hydraulic tools for Professionals.

Why use manual hydraulics for hydraulic tools?

Users of any tools have always valued a small space envelope for storing equipment in the shop or taking it on site. This is very true of hydraulic tools. Buying a cylinder, tool head, hose and separate pump definitely isn’t compact. Why use a dedicated integral hydraulic tool? You have the smallest space envelope possible, Manual hydraulics are inherently safe compared with power hydraulics. Stop pumping and the ram advance stops. You aren’t reliant on an electric supply or shop air. Manual hydraulic tools have their place. Even small run production applications are economic with manual hydraulics.

Why use Micropac hydraulics?

After over 40 years as a specialist British manufacturer, we know manual hydraulics. All our equipment is serviceable and we supply reasonably priced spares. Our kit offers good value for money.

You are quoting 10 metric tonnes. Is that the same as US tons?

10 metric tonnes are 10,000 kg or can exert a force of 99.8kN. 10 metric tonnes are 11.02 US tons.

Why use our Micropac 10 Tonne JAK10 compact integral jack?

Our JAK10 10 Tonne integral jack draws on 30 years of experience in manufacturing these unique tools. A low height jack for your toolbox or pocket and is invaluable for a wide range of lifting and shifting tasks in the shop, site or yard. Ideal for moving machinery or plant. The hydraulics is sealed for zero oil leakage and the unit can be used in any orientation. Construction is rugged carbon steel with a hard chrome plated piston rod. It provides long life and is serviceable at modest cost.

Why use our Micropac MV10 integral pump industry format cylinder to power your hydraulic tool?

Our MV10 10 tonne integral pump/cylinder uses our own industry standard format 10 tonne single acting spring return hydraulic cylinder and integrates our proven miniature hydraulic pump and reservoir on the end to form a compact and leak free integrated unit. Eliminate the separate ram, pump and hose by using our MV10 integral cylinder pump. The main application is in specialist hydraulic tools whether small specialist units like flange spreaders or nut splitters or in custom production equipment like presses for fitting chain links. Designers like using industry standard sizes on high tonnage 700 bar rams but often simply don’t want to run with a separate pump and hose. The MV10 offers an integrated alternative to a 10 tonne/ 54mm stroke cylinder. The unit can be operated in any orientation and the reservoir is sealed for zero leakage. Construction is rugged carbon steel with a hard chrome plated piston rod. The unit provides long life and is serviceable at modest cost.

Why use our MLP10 10 tonne compact precision laboratory and shop press?

Our MLP10 10 tonne hydraulic press meets a need for a good value compact 10 tonne press for the laboratory or shop. The unit is compact and can be used in any orientation. That allows it to adapt to meet your exact laboratory or production need. There is an optional pressure gauge calibrated in tonnes and kN. This is protected with a rubber boot, giving extra assurance if the unit is transported or used in the field. The press can be supplied in a rugged transit box with a foam insert.

The hard chrome plated piston rod is fitted with a hardened carbon steel saddle, as is the platen above it.

The basic model has a stroke of 35mm and a gap of 32mm. A long stroke model is available with a threaded adjuster that can be preset. This provides a maximum gap 50mm. Consult our data sheet…

The hydraulics are based on our JAK10 jack and include a precise hold/release valve and an adjustable relief valve. There is a neat base for bench mounting. A sliding removeable polycarbonate safety screen is fitted for protection in use.
