Low Pressure, Surface-mount Hand Pump | Micropac MFX

A low pressure, single speed hydraulic hand pump suitable for use in everyday hydraulics or for extreme harsh environments where corrosion is a challenge. This pump offers a high 50cc displacement for 50 bar low pressure applications. Typical applications include actuation, filling and charging.

This unit is truly multi-fluid capable with easy-to-change seal compounds for a wide range of hydraulic fluids and operating temperatures. The standard unit is suitable for oil, water and glycols.

This single acting hand pump produces its 50cc displacement to 50 bar on the down stroke. It is a basic hand pump to achieve the function at the lowest price. Hand effort is only on the down stroke, which may be specified by the user. Also consider our MW-3 or MP-3 double acting hand pumps which are double acting,  reducing the hand load and increase the displacement because they operate on the up and down strokes. For example, we offer a MW-3-49 pump to 100 bar and  provides 50cc per double stroke, this being 25cc on the up stroke and 25cc on the down. Note that “single acting” and “double acting” can also refer to a directional valve fitted to a hand pump to operate single or double acting cylinders. Be careful of confusion.

The MFX pump is a face-mount pump, meaning that you only require tapped mounting holes.

It simply pumps on the down stroke. If you require a pump that is double acting i.e. pumps on the up and down strokes, use our MW-3 unit.

• The Micropac MFX 316 Stainless Steel Hand Pump offers a corrosion resistant manual hydraulic solution for use in extremely demanding conditions.
• Options include a hold/release valve to release the pressure at the end of testing, a relief valve to limit the maximum pressure and a quality 63mm all stainless steel pressure gauge. Poppet and soft seat check valves offer optimum pressure holding.
  If you require a reservoir, designers will generally specify the MW-3 series which is tank top mounting and has the inlet under the pump body.
