The customer wants you to add a hand pump for a ridiculously low cost. You will win the order if you can supply the pack immediately with a hand pump. The customer wants to upgrade some systems to standby power but won’t pay for your service guy to travel to site. Unfortunately, these are everyday challenges for system designers and builders. Flexibility to meet customer needs is the name of the game.CETOP3

More often than not, you can’t change a system easily once it is manufactured. Certainly buying a hand pump in a box, mounting it on a bracket or through the reservoir lid then piping it up is a killer in labour alone. Could you add a hand pump in two minutes? Yes, we think you can.

Sarum Hydraulics has just introduced its Micropac MQ series CETOP3 sandwich pump, which just like its well established cartridge pump, will fill a particular need for system designers and builders.

A CETOP sandwich pump just bolts onto a manifold or end head, draws on the T connection and pressurises the P. All connections are through the interface. A and B are through ports.

You can fit it into a manifold valve stack, for example under a directional control valve. The possibilities are endless.

The unit is very cost effective on unit cost, even before you factor in the minimal installation time.

The space envelope is very small. With a 360 degree handle swivel and the ability to flip the pump head either end of the body, the ergonomics are a winner. You are really cutting the risk of a hand pump being difficult to use or fouling during pumping.

You are talking two minutes to install, remove or swap. Our three pressure/displacement models are all interchangeable. For a distributor, you are cutting your stocks and can quickly ship precisely what the customer wants.

Don’t forget our compact MT series cartridge pump which fits into a C10-2 7/8UNF SAE 2 port cavity. Designers and Specifiers now have both CETOP slice and C10-2 Micropac pumps. Both products offer a great way to add manual hydraulic power to manifold based systems.
